Overview

Trasset is a personal finance tracking app that helps you monitor your mutual fund investments, fixed deposits, and gold holdings.

In short: Your financial data is private and remains on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information You Enter

You provide the following data directly, which is stored only on your device:

• —Mutual fund transaction details (fund names, dates, amounts, units, NAV)
• —Fixed deposit details (bank name, principal, interest rate, maturity dates)
• —Gold holding details (weight, purity, purchase price)
• —SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) details

Information We Do NOT Collect

• —We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• —We do not create user accounts
• —We do not collect location data
• —We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies
• —We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports

How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. Data is never uploaded to our servers because we do not operate any servers.

Backups: If you use the export/backup feature, your data is exported as a CSV file or encrypted backup and saved to iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) — your personal cloud storage, governed by Apple's or Google's respective privacy policies. We do not have access to your backup files.

Network Requests

Trasset makes limited outbound network requests solely to fetch publicly available mutual fund data:

No financial amounts, transaction details, or personal information are ever sent over the network. The scheme code is a public identifier (e.g., "120503") used only to retrieve publicly available pricing data.

Biometric Authentication

If your device supports it, Trasset uses Face ID or Touch ID (via iOS/Android system APIs) to restrict access to the app. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system and is never accessed or stored by Trasset.

Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties. We have no business relationships with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics companies.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data lives on your device and is under your full control:

• —Delete individual records at any time from within the app
• —Reset all data via Settings → Reset All Data (requires double confirmation)
• —Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device

Children's Privacy

Trasset is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Because we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly — we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
