By downloading or using PassDE, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
PassDE is an educational app for preparing for the German citizenship test (Einbürgerungstest). It contains the official question catalogue published by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF). The app is provided free of charge with no subscription or mandatory in-app purchases.
PassDE is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the German government, BAMF, or any official examination authority. Passing practice tests in the app does not guarantee passing the official citizenship test.
The questions included in the app are based on the publicly available official question catalogue. We make reasonable efforts to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that the questions reflect the most current version of the official test at all times.
PassDE offers an optional, one-time in-app purchase ("Buy the developer a coffee") as a voluntary donation. This purchase is not required to access any feature of the app. All purchases are final and processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.
The iCloud backup feature stores your study data in your personal iCloud account. You are responsible for managing your iCloud storage. Aryvyn Labs is not responsible for data loss resulting from iCloud service interruptions or account issues.
The PassDE app, its design, and its code are the intellectual property of Aryvyn Labs. The official citizenship test questions are the property of BAMF and are reproduced for educational purposes under fair use.
You may not copy, reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the app or its content without written permission.
PassDE is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the content will always be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aryvyn Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to failure to pass the official citizenship test.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the app at any time. We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany.
